Zachary is a Masters of Science student in Biomedical Engineering & VMR Lab Manager. As an undergraduate in the BMEL, he worked in collaboration with 4WEB Medical, Inc. developing a novel tibial tray for total knee replacements that will increase initial fixation and reduce long term micromotion. Currently, Zachary's research focuses on biomechanical characterization of the hip suction seal, repair methods for distal bicep tendon ruptures, distal radius fracture fixation, hydrogels for cartilage replacement, development of low-cost prosthetic devices for resource limited environments, and more.
