Sarah Hynes

Sarah is a Junior at Texas A&M University where she is working towards her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. She is pursuing the bioinstrumentation track within Biomedical Engineering, and began working in the Biomechanical Environments Lab in August of 2015. She previously worked with Hunter to design and 3D print an orthotic device for forelimb carpal support in canines. Currently she is working with Andrew and Hunter to perform mechanical testing on biodegradable polymers and other engineered tissues. She is focusing on instrumenting the bio-bath where the polymers will be held with sensors to monitor the temperature, pH, and water level. After graduation, she plans to pursue a career in industry.
